About Lawyer Matthew Russell

My name is Matt Russell, and I opened my law firm to ensure citizens had the best representation possible. I am a criminal defense attorney in Springfield, MO, and the surrounding areas. I take a lot of pride in helping good people in bad spots who find themselves in legal trouble.

I only practice law in Southwest Missouri. I know the judges, prosecutors, and other attorneys, which means I know how to get my clients a good outcome. Our entire firm is proud to be able to help with that.

Outside of court, I have served as the mayor of the City of Republic for four years, and before that on City Council for two years. I have served on numerous non-profit boards, many times in leadership roles. I enjoy giving back to that great community and helping it grow. Any free time is happily spent with my spouse and two sons.
