Senior Associate Solicitor
With over 22 years of dedicated experience in family law, Martha brings depth of expertise, strategic insight, and unwavering client care to Kee Solicitors. Martha originally qualified as a solicitor in England before requalifying and practising in Scotland.
Martha has extensive experience in family law, including divorce and cohabitation claims, financial provision, contact and residence cases and adoption cases.
Martha's focus is on Scottish family law where she is known for her balanced and pragmatic approach to even the most complex and sensitive cases. She advises on the full spectrum of family matters, including separation and divorce, financial provision, child residence and contact, cohabitation disputes, adoption, and protective orders. Her approach is built on a commitment to empowering clients with clear, realistic advice and working collaboratively toward solutions that protect their family’s long-term interests.
In addition to her casework, Martha is appointed as a Child Welfare Reporter for Kilmarnock Sheriff Court, a role that reflects her expertise in child-related matters and her ability to provide clear, impartial insight in support of the court’s decision-making.
Before entering the legal profession, Martha served in the Royal Air Force gaining experience that shaped her strong sense of duty, resilience, and calm, decisive approach under pressure. These qualities continue to assist her work and the support she provides to clients navigating challenging personal circumstances.
Recognised for her analytical strength, meticulous preparation, and approachable manner, Martha is a trusted advisor to clients and colleagues alike.
At Kee Solicitors, she is part of a forward-thinking team dedicated to delivering accessible, modern, and client-focused family law services across Scotland.
Outside of work, she is a qualified netball coach and continues to play netball regularly. Martha represents the Royal Air Force Masters Netball Team playing against the Army and Navy annually. Martha also enjoys travel, walking/showing her Afghan Hounds and spending time with her family and friends.
