Kathleen is a Senior Associate in our Personal Injury team.

Kathleen has a background in litigation and is experienced in pursuing and defending claims in the Sheriff Court and Court of Session. She has represented clients on a wide range of claims including road traffic accidents, accidents in the work place, product liability and medical negligence.

She regularly appears in Sheriff Courts across Scotland on behalf of pursuers and insurer clients.

highlights

Scottish agent in All-Scotland Personal Injury Action arising out of the 2013 Glasgow Clutha helicopter crash. This involved preparing the case for jury trial and ultimately negotiating damages of twice the defender's original offer.
Represented the victim of negligent back surgery leading to £50,000 compensation after claim was previously rejected by another firm of solicitors.
Acted for a leading car manufacturer in successfully defending a £45,000 product liability claim.
Obtained damages from an employer and a vehicle manufacturer following a client's accident using work equipment.
Secured an award of £72,000 for a scaffolder who was originally offered £3,500 in a slip/trip accident at work.
Secured £90,000 settlement for client who was immunocompromised following road traffic accident.
Secured £200,000 settlement for client who suffered a serious shoulder injury in a road traffic accident.
